In this project, we worked on analyzing the business model of freelance platforms, identifying their strategy in how to interact with stakeholders and extracting their processes. There are various freelance platform pricing models, such as commission fees, membership fees, bidding fees, featured projects, and advertising. Our goal was to understand how these platforms created value for both freelancers and clients, and what were the key factors that influenced their success and growth.
Based on our analysis, we designed the Midlancer platform process according to the organization’s strategy. Midlancer is a new freelance platform that aims to provide high – quality services for mid – sized projects. The platform process consisted of several
steps, such as project posting, project bidding, project management, project delivery, and project review. We were responsible for defining the requirements, specifications, and features of each step, as well as the user interface and user experience design. We also tested and validated the platform process with potential users and stakeholders, and collected feedback for improvement.
